Howard Dean on CNBC's Power Lunch saying, "I think we've had quite enough capitalism in the last eight years."

I live in the wealthiest nation in the history of civiliation. I live in a society where the average person has a better standard of living than royalty of past ages. All thanks to captialism. But Howard Dean has had enough of Capitalism. Clearly, living in some socialist hell hole like Cuba or Venezuala or Zimbabwe is preferable to the evil USA. How do people as congenitally stupid as Dean rise in public life? What is wrong with our system that it allows such people to thrive?
